It is bordered by Orlando to the south. The city is home to Rollins College, a private liberal arts institution that was founded in 1885. There are lots of historical landmarks and attractions in the city including Downtown Winter Park Historic District, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Rollins Museum of Art, Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum, Winter Park History Museum, Knowles Memorial Chapel, Hannibal Square Heritage Center, Robert Bruce Barbour House, Albin Polasek House and Studio, Mead Botanical Garden, Kraft Azalea Garden, and Annie Russell Theatre. The Langford Resort Hotel in Winter Park had many famous guests such as Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Larry King, and Dean Martin. The hotel was demolished at the end of the 20th century.
