Pulse was a nightclub located at 1912 S Orange Ave, Orlando, Florida, United States. It was founded by Barbara Poma and Ron Legler in 2004. On June 12, 2016, a 29-year-old man killed 49 people and injured 53 in a mass shooting at the nightclub. It was the second-worst mass shooting by a single gunman in the United States history, as well as the deadliest one in the history of violence against LGBT people in the country. The onePULSE Foundation was established to honor the memory of the victims. The National Pulse Memorial and Museum is scheduled to be open in 2022 to commemorate victims of the nightclub shooting at Pulse in Orlando, Florida. The museum will be located at 438 West Kaley Street, Orlando.
