Taurus Mountains is a large moutain chain situated in southern Turkey, approximately along the Mediterranean Sea coasts. The mountains separate coastal area from the Anatolian plains, as well as stretch further to the south eastern part of the country. Taurus mountains include three areas: Central Taurus, Western Taurus, and South Eastern Taurus.
