Post Falls is a city in Kootenai County, northern Idaho, USA, located on the Washington–Idaho state border, 10 miles northwest of Coeur d'Alene and 23 miles east of Spokane, Washington. It is bordered by the Spokane River to the south, the state line to the west, and Coeur d’Alene to the east. The city was founded in 1871, incorporated in 1891, and received its name after Frederick Post who constructed a lumber mill there. Interstate 90 serves the area. There are a few attractions in the city, such as Black Bay Park, Falls Park, Tullamore Park, The Highlands Golf Course, and Millennium Skate Park. Spokane International Airport is situated 30 miles west of the city.
