It was opened on 16 October 2017 and designed by Christian de Portzamparc. It has a capacity of 30,681 (rugby) and 40,000 (concerts). It has been the home ground of Racing 92 since 2017. It has hosted selected matches of the France rugby union team as well. Several notable artists and bands performed at the arena, including The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Kendrick Lamar, Paul McCartney, Pink, Iron Maiden, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Shawn Mendes, and Celine Dion. Paris La Défense Arena in France is one of the venues for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
