Myrtos Beach (Παραλία Μύρτος) is a picturesque white-sand beach in Greece, located in the northern part of Kefalonia Island between two mountains: Agia Dynati and Kalon Oros. The beach is famous as a filming location in Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001). Myrtos Beach is considered one of the best beaches in the country. You can take a bus to reach the beach from Agia Efimia in the summer. Nearby attractions include Myrtos Cave and Gianiskari Cave. There is a cafe on the beach, as well.
