Everett is a city in Washington, USA, located along Port Gardner Bay, on the banks of the Snohomish River, and 29 miles north of Seattle. It is the seat of Snohomish County and part of the Seattle metropolitan area. The area was originally inhabited by the Snohomish people. It was founded in 1890 and incorporated on May 4, 1893. Everett is one of the most populous cities in the state, as well as the most populous one in the county. It is an economic, tourism, and industrial center of the region, home to the Boeing Everett Factory and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
