Yokohama Marine Tower is the tallest lighthouse in Japan and in whole Far East. It is a tower which is about 332 feet tall, located near Tokyo Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture, in the central part of Yokohama city in Naka Ward, in Yamashitacho Park. It sends green and red light signals every 20 seconds. The lighthouse was built in 1960s and for many decades in was the tallest lighthouse in the world, now being surpassed by only three more modern lighthouses, one in Saudi Arabia, in the US, and in Argentina.
