Sang Ma Sao, also known as Sang Ma Sao, is a small natural preserve as well as a commune in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, Vietnam. The landmark is located in the west of Bat Xat district, about 39 km northwest of the district town and 5 km from the center of Muong Hum commune area. The natural preserve and the green area is famous for its large circular rice plantations that are operating year round and can be visited year round. The area is divided into two parts, the upper region and the lower region, both are excellent for cultivating rice. Sange Ma Sao is quite popular with foreign tourists and guests from the other countries who are visiting the area and want to see producing rice with their own eyes.
