I'm from Adelaide, and while I was watching Season 1, I couldn't recognise a single thing about it being Adelaide. Most especially the streets and houses. Even more so in Season 2. I kept thinking that this simply wasn't Adelaide...no way :) And here we are, North Manly...and it makes perfect sense--totally Sydney houses.
