This Is Us Locations
This Is Us is an American comedy-drama TV series created by Dan Fogelman. It premiered on NBC on September 20, 2016. The series follows the lives of two parents, and their three children, in several different time frames. It stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, and Susan Kelechi Watson. The series won the 2018 Golden Globe Awards for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama" (Sterling K. Brown). The sixth and final season of the series premiered on January 4, 2022. This Is Us is almost entirely filmed in Los Angeles, California, as well as at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The Vietnam War scenes took place around Lake Piru.

The Haas Lilienthal House and the house at 1701 Franklin were very similar in style to the ones referenced above in terms of surfaces and the like. Still not sure if they used such locations or copied their design.
Some scenes were definitely filmed in SF in the Toby in SF episodes but in addition the most recent episode about Rebecca and the symbolic train looked like they either used some of the SF historic houses OR copied them in the set design-/style of glass, style of wall covering etc. The old houses of rich people had copper forms covered with leather and the middle class copycat forms had tin molds covered with a textured paper.
