Tarzana is a small district and a neighborhood of Los Angeles in California, USA, situated in the southern part of the San Fernando Valley. It is situated to the north of Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park. The first settlement appeared in Tarzana in the end of the 18th century near a small ranch belonging to a rich landowner. Later on, a famous writer Edgar Burroughs resided in the town, so about 100 years ago the town was named Tarzana, after the famous character of the writer. Tarzana is a home to about 35,000 people and it is an excellent residential area, not crowded and with very friendly and nice community. The district is provided with all social facilities and services.
