The series won the Golden Globe for Best Television Drama Series in 2016. Oscar-winner Rami Malek plays the lead character, Elliot Alderson. Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström also starred in the series. The final season was aired on October 6, 2019. Mr. Robot was filmed in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City and Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
