Cape Canaveral is a small beachside community in Central Florida located to the east of Orlando city and formerly known as Cape Kennedy. The cape itself is the location for a large Force Station and space exploration related facilities. The area is very famous for space launches and the American space programs. The city of Cape Canaveral is located about 6 miles south of the Force Station and just less than a mile south of Cruise Terminal 5 - Port Canaveral which often receives cruise ships from all around the world. The city is linked to the continental part of the country by two roads, Highway A1A and Highway 520. They connect the town area to the neighboring Merritt Island and then to the lands of the state of Florida.

Apart of being a rocket launch site servicing the community, the city is a historic point of interest, with a small local port and some good investment opportunities. Geographically, the city is located on the barrier island facing the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a small historic lighthouse which can be found in the neighborhood of the city and is considered one of the main attractions of the area since it is believed to be marking the place where the first settlers from Europe have landed in the area.
