It is one of the venues for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. It has an Olympic Basketball (3x3 Basketball) capacity of 7,100 and an Olympic Sport Climbing capacity of 8,400. Sport Climbing will make its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 with three disciplines: Speed, Bouldering, and Lead. Aomi Urban Sports Park is situated close to the Athletes' Village and surrounded by teamLab Borderless, Tokyo Trick Art Museum, Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station, Tokyo Teleport Station, Odaiba Marine Park Pier, Odaiba Beach, and National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.
